In
the year 1954, Bhargab Engineering Works
came into existence under the guidance
of Late Mr. Pranotosh Kumar Sen with the
aim of manufacturing Rotary and Semi
Rotary Hand Pumps, which is an essential
item for our shipyards. At a time when
India had to import this item from
abroad, we dared to dream BIG! Initially
we made a humble beginning with 5-6
employees and commenced our operations
with a very small investment, but over
the years due to our determination and
hard work, we have gained sufficient
goodwill and have been successful in
carving a niche for
ourselves. In the year 2004 we completed
fifty successful years in the industry
and are proud to be now recognized as
elite. Our company is an ISO 9001:2000
Certified Company. This has helped us to
achieve standards of quality that are
respected throughout the world. It has
also helped us to identify and meet our
customers' requirements and enhance
customer satisfaction. We have
established a systematic approach to
quality management. We at Bhargab
believe in adherence to strict quality
control measures. Apart from the Defence
sector we have as our clients several
private enterprises as well.
Late Mr. Pranotosh Kumar Sen was also
closely associated with the high
officials in Tea Industries. This
inspired him to make up his mind to
manufacture Tea Blending Drum and Soft
paper Packing machine as import
substitutes to assist the tea
manufacturing industries of India. We
believe in performance and it is because
of this that our machines are of the
best quality, economical, and
technically upgraded. Quality
maintenance and continual improvement
are our foremost priority. We give great
importance to reliability and our
machines are designed to be reliable and
are custom engineered for individual
